Postponed: Restorative Yoga themed Nature's Symphony on Saturday, March 21st Starting at 10:30 a

It was last winter when I started reading the book, "Lessons" by Gisele Bundchen (the Super Model married to NFL Quarterback, Tom Brady). I remember being surprised reading that "yoga changed her life." It made me SO very curious that I started googling Sanskrit words only to realize that through my Amazon Prime I could sample yoga classes in the comfort of my home right through my smart tv (thank you modern technology).

I practiced yoga this way for almost a year. After having some of the same revelations Gisele expressed in her book, I really just wanted to learn more. Then one of my dearest friends said to me, "you should be a yoga teacher" which really struck me so I ventured out to do a little research on various yoga studios in my area to learn a little more.

After several stops at different locations, I immediately found myself drawn to Cultivate Yoga & Fitness, but didn't want to jump in too quickly so I prayed on it. All signs were directing me back to Cultivate and the owner/teacher, Dr. Karyn McElroy leading Yoga Teacher Training (YTT). So when my husband asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I asked for the YTT course so that I could learn more and maybe even share with others too. This was untraveled territory for me, but through the process I've learned I'm right where I need to be.

Initially I gravitated to Restorative & Yin yoga, but I do love hot yoga as well! It's funny too, the one you think you won't like is the one you might typically need.

I'll be sharing my next Restorative Yoga themed class,

Nature's Symphony on Saturday, March 21st (in tune with the Spring Equinox when the day & night are almost equal) at Cultivate from 10:30 to 11:45 am. The class is $15 and you can click here to register.

Please join me to the refresh and restore in this yoga practice as we prepare ourselves for the start of longer days of sunlight, birds singing, and daffodils poking up their heads.
